Christian Dior HC Spring 2009



The show was standard Galliano. The inspirations ranged from dutch tulips, delftware, milkmaids, the three musketeers and flemish art. It is hard to focus on the clothes when the models truly can not walk in the shoes. I do not understand why designers are insisting on continuing this trend. Do they realize that it is painful to watch?

I love your posts on the fashion shows! Somehow, you always manage to find paintings that look exactly like the dresses in the pictures! I'm always amazed.

Also, I completely agree about the shoes...I watched the video clip you included in the post and it made me cringe to see the poor girls teetering down the stage.
