I need to share my pain. I bought this full price at Banana Republic last year. Some of you might recognize it from one of the sniffas. I adored it because it reminded me of the Chanel version. Well...Cavewoman and I were at the Grove City Mall in PA. We were in the Banana Republic outlet store. There is a rack of them along with the pink version of the coat. They were significantly less than what I paid for. It brought me to my knees. Remind me to NEVER pay full retail from them again. I do not care if the coat is beyond fabulous. I must never experience that pain again.

Oh, Annie dear, I am so sad that we went into that store and you saw that coat. Full Retail are ugly words. We must banish them from our shopping vocabularies.
Lovely coat. Never pay retail (except for fragrance, if you must)is my motto. First words my mother taught me. Her family was in the men's clothing business in NYC. Love your blogdorf, Annie!
No regrets Annie.Even at full price,it was still cheaper than Chanel.Just enjoy your lovely coat.
But you looked so beautiful in that coat A! It is always hard to know if you should wait for a sale -- it would have been a shame if you'd never found it in your size.
Right, what if it wasn't in your size on the sale rack? Better to say, only pay retail when it is true love.
It physically pains me to pay full retail price for items! Then again you might never have found it in your size! You can always buy a backup one now if you love it so!
Rule #1 in being a fashionista: Never regret a purchase.
Now, you know I love a bargain, but if something speaks to you at full price, you need to get it. That coat made you feel special and fashion saavy for a full year before you knew it went clearance. It was worth what you paid. You are a wise shopper and buy what you love, a rack at the outlet mall can't take that away from you!
I stand corrected by those who are much wiser than I am.
